Clean, well-routed air lines installed from the basement to the ground floor, delivering dependable compressed air to the new Tesla Auto Body Shop.

When it comes to workshop compressed air, common sense goes a long way. Keep it simple, keep it clean, and most importantly, keep operations running without disruption. That was the approach taken for a recent installation at Chatswood Prestige’s new Tesla auto body shop in Chatswood, where a fixed-speed compressor, pre and post-filtration, and aluminium piping were installed for the workshop fit-out.

The system needs to power a spray painting booth and air tools at key access points across a large facility. Working closely with the client, we began with the main lines. 32mm aluminium piping was installed throughout the workshop using a scissor lift, with each outlet fitted neatly with hose reels to keep the space clear and functional. When the spray booth was installed on site, our team returned promptly to complete the air connection. The FC100-30D compressor was installed alongside pre and post-filtration in the basement to keep the system out of the way and sheltered, with air lines running up through the floor to access the ground-floor workshop.

The result is a clean and practical compressed air system that supports day-to-day operations without getting in the way. Simple, effective, and built with common sense from the ground up.
